Things Are Coming Together

I can hardly believe that we are almost done with Optometry School.  It's been a long, but also fast 4 years.  (Not to mention the 2 years of school prior to that).  Graduation is just 6 weeks away!  Crazy!!!

Things are coming together though.  We're working on job details.  We're also working on housing details.  Apparently, we're at the "tail" end of things.  :)

It's a bit stressful, but it feels good to have things moving forward.  

This last week I went house hunting.  We are looking for a house to rent for the first year or so.  We're thrilled to be able to sign a 12-month lease.  Happy day!  No more moving every 3 months!

Our list of must-have's is short.  

It must have a 2 car garage.  

It must have at least 3 bedrooms.

 

It must have at least a bath and a half.  

That's about it.  We also want it to feel like home.  Some place we will love to be.  

We looked at half a dozen houses (all the ones that fit our criteria in the area).   These pictures are all from several different homes.  

We now have it narrowed down and that feels good.  Things are definitely coming together. 

One. More. Move. 

Since we were in the area and the weather was so beautiful, we just had to visit the ocean.    

The weather forecast called for cloudy, rainy weather all week...

except for the day we were there!

We had amazing weather.   We're excited to be moving closer to the ocean with this next move.

Couldn't ask for a more perfect day.  And we're so excited for the next phase of our lives.  This career change and going back to school has been a great, albeit, difficult experience.  

We've been so blessed throughout it all, especially this last, very busy year.  I know we'll continue to be blessed as we finish and move on.
